First, let me get one thing straight... Yes, Hamachi is a computer program, but it's also a fish used in sushi (Japanese amberjack to be exact). I'm looking for those who use the former, not those who have eaten the latter.

I can guess that at least one of you know what Hamachi does, but for the not as geeky crowd out there, it's a virtual networking program (with some encrypttion to protect your links). Basically, you can link PC's together over a secure link and act like they're linked together with a set of Ethernet cables and get a IP for the network. You can use Windows File and Printer Sharing to share files, and do virtually anything a normal network does.

All I'm looking for is those using Hamachi, and offering services out to the private network. IM or mail me if you do, and you want to have some fun.

HI, I've never gotten Hamachi to do more than just share IMs between my two computers. Any suggestions on getting the program working properly would be appreciated.

Thanks....

Everything is around the IP address... which for Hamachi is in the 5.x.x.x range as far as I know. If person A has an IP of 5.1.2.3, and person B has a IP of 5.6.7.8, then you should be able to connect with one additional step...

You've got to create a private network by clicking (translate accordingly) on the Networks button and selecting Create Network, then enter the info requested. The password isn't mandatory, but I recommend it. If you have an existing network, and you know the network name/pass (if required), then just select Join Network instead of Crreate Network and enter the requested info.

If you want one on one help, send me an IM or try me on Skype.
